to clear up some confusion about nashville pride


i was in negotiations and had all intentions of doing an appearance for pride weekend at club aarow in nashville this weekend
this has been in the works for about 3 months
here is the issue
in nashville you need a license to perform which you have to get from the sob board, in order to get this license you need to get finger printed and get them your id card and all that good stuff,
i had submitted all my forms to this board and have called leaving several messages over the past 2 months with not a single returned call and now the board is claiming that they have not received my paperwork which i found out today.
and to top it all off they arent exactly open everyday so unfortunately i will not be appearing i am trying to find another performer to take my place who has a current license but im not having any luck.
so unfortunately i will not be appearing in nashville.
i will however continue to stay in touch with this venue and resubmit all the required forms to try and rebook this venue at a later date.
please do not be angry with the club or myself this is one of those things that does not fall on us remember this is a gov board and we all know how dealing with them can be.

on a side note i was able to get a last minute booking in washington d.c at secrets it will be my first time there and in d.c so i am excited to come out there and perform.
im sorry for the confusion this may cause but these things can and do happen, lol it seems to happen alot to me but i always find a way to make it up to my fans.

  2. Hey Ricky, thanks for the heads-up. For what it's worth, I think all us Nash-villains know that the SOB LB is all delay and no play. Cool that you landed the last minute gig. I guess that makes the score Nashville 0 / DC 9+.
