gio girogio whatever the fuck you want to call him i have known for about a year and a half a typical greek business man slick talking loud mouthed been there done that thinks he knows everyone, one of those types
he contacted me at first trying to book me for some smaller venues out on the east coast and they were ok easy going small gigs i cant complain.
a couple months ago he contacted me about doing something during fashion week i said i was down for it his idea of honoring important people who had an influential role in the gay community was a good idea michael musto is an amazing man who alot of people have alot of rights because of his powerful voice and the fact that this is a man that not only has the intelligence to back his words up but also the heart to stand and say what he believes in, mike ruiz is a living legend he is an amazing man with a gift that i have not seen anyone even come close to his level of professionalism, e tells me he is having his fashion models from his sports line of models coming in to model fashions from andrew christian so i call my buddy john superstien and ask him if he would like to send some stuff in as well so he does.
then gio aka georgio books one of my djs milty evans for the gig and iw ork with milty quite often here in chicago,
he also tells me he is booking chris padilla and tracy young so im like cool this sounds like its going to be a good night.
he also books me and milty to play a pre party at fashion 26 hotel which im told the week of they dont want gay pronstars or black dj's in their establishment so now im pissed
so me and milty get there tuesday and milty who has severe asthma and had an asthma attack and his medication was not working so we call 911 and spend the night at bellvue hospital milty pulls through max scott was there by miltys side and was there which is love.
we get back to the hotel at 6am milty tucks himself into his bed and me and max crash out on the floor note i slept on the floor all three days i was there since i didnt have a bed. whatever i can deal with that im not a diva but what the fuck its unprofessional.
now its wednesday gio is nowhere to be found and he was supposed to be in nyc tuesday.
i told max take me to rebel to see the space we head down to the club and i introduce myself to the manager ray and his assistant as ricky sinz the owner of fierce casting he looks at me funny and says no gio is the owner i explained to him that he is not, he tells me that he was going to cancel the event a week ago because the deposit for the club did not go through, gio failed to meet with the owner and dicked him around with the deposit money.
that opens the door for conversation about the event and what is really happeneing we look at the ad and we realize that his contract and the ad are not gelling, and of course gio is nowhere to be found. so me max and the manager are now trying to figure out some things.
since i did not sign a contract with the club i am limited on what i can do.
now comes thursday day of the event me and max go to the club at about 5 to do sound checks and gio was supposed to be there cause his models were coming in early to go over rehersals, 1 model and his friends show up and he comes up to me introduces himself and tells me he has a concern saying he has done events with gio in the past and gio owes him money (now in my head i know this shit is gonna be a disaster) i call gio and tell him you need to square up with your model he says ok not a problem, calls the model on his phone tells him to go home, and gets nasty with him, i tell him relax ill handle this.
i call gio and rip him a new ass and tell him to fix this and to loose the drama and attitude, i also ask him where he is now hes in long island then hes at the deli than picking up banners etc,
now i know for sure there is shady shit happening cause nothing he is saying is adding up.
about an hour before the doors are open no gio, no nothing, its me and max scrambling to get shit together for this dicks event i text him and tell him hey its your event you get here and you fix all this shit he gets an attitude so i say fuck it im out, i leave and go to the room and chill with miltymax calls me and asks me if me and milty can come and help him cause like all of us his name is on the flyer, so me and milty come up there its almost 10 the doors opened at 9 gio showed up for 5 minutes at 9:15 and left all the things he claimed to be bringing and his excuse for being late werent there no banners, no food, no vip stuff, nothing hes just walking around trying to be a hotshot, and to top it all off the heat in the front room wasnt on and the sound system blew cause the wiring to the pre-amp was fried out
i walk into a room full of a-list celebrities reporters, press models dancers and one by one models are coming up to me asking about pay and im like why are these people coming to me asking for money the only person i hired was the fire performer who gio never turned in the insurance paperwork so he couldnt perform but i still threw him cash
at this point i know this is bad like really bad this asshole claimed he was in nyc all these weeks before promoting only to find out he was at splash chasing ass,
i go in the back room and see milty jump on the decks and replace chris padilla and i notice all the dancers stopped dancing now i dance alot and the only time dancers stop is when there is an issue, the dancers come to me and start demanding pay im like i need to do something now cause this is out of control, so i play find gio and find him hiding in a dark corner upstairs and tell him come with me i grab milty and say come with me we go in the model/dancer room with all the dancers and i call him out and demand he pay these people right now, than i come to find out that he was telling all these people that he owned fierce casting all these models and dancers thought they were working for my company
if you work an event for me number one there is a written signed contract and you get paid before you perform end of story.
so now this bitch in a tacky suit is in a room with me milty max and all the dancers hes called out and he tries to lie and says lets talk outside i say no you tell these people right now what the fuck is going on and pay them right now at this point im furious he starts with his lying bull shit and i grabbed him by his throat and told him the lies end now pay these people , i let go of him and then again lies come out so i slap him like a bitch, if your gonna play me like a bitch ill treat you like a bitch now your messing with these peoples money, my company name and im not having it.
if i go to jail for assaly at this point i dont care, i now know this piece of shit is broke and cant pay anyone he scrambling,
so i leave the room and milty starts cussing him out.
i go to chris and tell him to tell tracy young she needs to go get her money cash from him before she does anything, of course he cant pay her so she leaves, im sure as shit not going to play or perform at this point so i go upstairs and grab the manager ray and let him know all hell is about to break loose so he comes down and snags up gio.
milty looks at me and says lets go, we go to the diner and i get a call from max saying that the dancers are all from out of state and didnt get paid so i tell him to bring them to the diner i buy them dinner and we check them into the hotelnd give them gas money, some of these dancers were 18 and dont need to be stranded in nyc with no money etc that is not only fucked up and unprofessional but just disturbing
so in addition to throwing the worlds shitties party that i find out only happened because my name my companys name, chris padilla and max scott were involved , you ripped off your sponsors steel gym and squirt you didnt even post a banner, you ripped off your dj's dancers, models, your signing talent.
and lied to everyone involved, you fraudulantly misrepresented yourself
but you really insulted thye people you were throwing the party for
and you disaapointed the fans and people that came out to support it.
you wanna act like a hotshot you had your chance and you really fucked up.
after talking to these dancers i also come to find out you have been booking clubs in your area under my companies name which my attorney has now contacted all of them,
i am also collecting all these emails saying you own my company, statements from the club, sponsors, and i will be taking legal action monday, anyone who has any information please contact me immediately
